Quality Manager Position - North Kansas City FacilityPosition Overview:A leading Fortune 500 company in the ingredient solutions sector is on the lookout for a Quality Manager at their North Kansas City facility. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of quality for which the company's products are known, encompassing a range of items from sweeteners to plant proteins.Key Responsibilities:- Direct and manage all aspects of quality assurance and quality control.- Uphold stringent food safety regulations, including BRC, SQF, and HACCP standards.- Perform routine audits and uphold FSQA protocols.- Lead a dedicated team, including 7 direct reports, totaling approximately 15 members.- Engage with union representatives and navigate the nuances of a unionized workforce.Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial capacity within the food industry.- A solid foundation in FSQA and familiarity with laboratory operations.- Demonstrated ability in leadership and team management.- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment.Compensation:- A generous relocation package.This role offers a significant opportunity for professional advancement, as evidenced by the previous manager's promotion within a year.
