The Quality Manager position is responsible for overseeing and continuously improving the quality of all automotive products and processes. This role plays a vital role in driving a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards like IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct and oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) techniques to identify and address quality issues proactively.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to identify the root cause of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Manage supplier quality assurance programs and conduct supplier audits to ensure they meet quality expectations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality control procedures and best practices for all relevant personnel.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest quality standards and regulations in the automotive industry.
- Maintain clear and concise quality documentation, records, and reports.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of quality principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate quality goals, objectives, and performance metrics to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in automotive quality management.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant automotive quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and automotive quality control software (SPC software, etc.).
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies (a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
