Leads Quality Groups in establishing standards aimed at providing highly repeatable, high-quality products to the industries the company serves.* Oversee the continued implementation, revision, and updates to ISO-9001 Certification* Develop quality metrics to guide production in continuous improvement* Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying customer requirements with other members of management and with production operators* Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures* Establishes rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.* Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures* Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends* Prepare for and facilitate customer audits* Safety Officer: Drive Safety initiatives through the organization* Promote a 5S mindset* Other tasks as assignedJob RequirementsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:* Bachelor s Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)* Minimum 5 years experience in Quality systems* Minimum 5 years experience in technical management: (Required)* Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products* Experience in electronic assembly (a plus)Other Requirements:* Open minded and willingness to learn* Strong people skills* Positive, professional attitude* Solid presentation, written and oral communication skills* Strong organization and time management skills* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance* Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
