Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Operations, the Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations and control of the Kratos Cyber Quality Management Systems produce deliverables that meet the highest quality standards. This includes ensuring that the processes used in producing the deliverables are developed, implemented, and controlled in a way that enables the quality objectives to be achieved. The Quality Manager ensures the Quality Management Systems comply with company, industry, and ISO requirements, as well as works with Delivery and Training Leads to ensure processes are sufficiently documented.
Ensure the Kratos Cyber Quality Management Systems are continually compliant with ISO 17020:2012, American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Cyber Accreditation Body, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.Maintain familiarity with external standards and procedures applicable to the accredited areas of work.Ensure the Kratos Cyber business unit adheres to policies and procedures detailed in the Quality Management Systems.Ensure and enforce that Kratos Cyber is operating within the scope of its Quality Management Systems.Develop an annual quality plan for each Quality Management System encompassing all quality activities planned for the year.Plan, execute, and report results of Internal Audits.Prepare for and participate in external audits.Conduct annual reviews of Quality Management System manuals, policies, procedures, and work instructionsConduct monthly quality roundtable meetings and annual management review meetings.Conduct quality control reviews of draft and final versions of customer deliverables.Manage the Corrective Action process, to include conducting root cause analysis for deficiencies and developing corrective/preventative actions.Collaborate with the Training Manager to transform deficiencies into training opportunities.Participate and support training team in development of cybersecurity curriculum and delivery to staff.Assist Cyber BU leadership in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.Other duties as assigned.- Batchelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts
- Strong process improvement mindset and a passion for quality.
- Demonstrated skill in quality control of documentation and/or technical editing.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
- Knowledge of document control best practices.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience developing policies and procedures.
- Experience planning or participating in ISO audits.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, CMMC, FISMA and NIST frameworks and guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with ISO 17020:2012.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
