Job Description:
The Quality Manager is responsible for strategic, tactical and operational quality planning; promoting and maintaining quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization; and liaison with customers and vendors.- Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality objectives.- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.- Investigate customer issues and complaints relating to quality and verify complete follow through of corrective actions.- Assure incoming quality of vendor-supplied parts through pre-award surveys, vendor surveillance and other means.- Work with site leadership to ensure production processes and quality procedures maximize reliability and minimize costs.- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.- Assure customer specifications and inspection records are properly maintained.- Oversee internal audits and external audit preparation and address non-conformities.- Ensure organizational systems and training is in place.- Operate within policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and SafeStart practices- Monitor and manage the Quality Management System. Facilitate changes to QMS as needed for process improvement.- Control and operate monitoring and measuring devices needed for testing and calibration records.Base + bonuses Full benefits
