This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the division's quality department, ensuring products meet or exceed customer and company quality standards.Essential Functions:
- Data Analysis and Standards Development: Analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and set future quality and reliability expectations.
- Quality Control Objectives: Formulating and maintaining quality control goals and coordinating those goals with production procedures to enhance product reliability and reduce costs.
- Inspection and Testing Oversight: Directing department employees to ensure inspections and testing in continuous quality control over materials, facilities, and products.
- Supervision: Ensuring department employees are properly trained on tools, equipment, and procedures; regularly monitoring performance to ensure adherence to policies and quality standards; and addressing performance issues through coaching or discipline as needed.

- Associates degree or 4 years of related experience
- Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to build and promote positive relationships
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in quality engineering or related field
- Experience with ISO: 9001:2015
- Experience supervising a team to include performance management, employee development, performance discussions and discipline
- Ability to plan and develop standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality and train employees on quality procedures and the use of quality tools.
- ASQ Certification in Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality Engineer (CMQE)
- APICS Certification
