Volt is immediately hiring a
Quality Manager in
Topsfield, MA. As a
Quality Manager, you will:
- Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls
- Coordinate receiving inspection, in-process, and final inspection efforts
- Work directly with manufacturing department to schedule and control inspection activities - enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, products, package specifications and regulatory agencies
- Supervise and train all inspection personnel to commercial and military inspections
- Attend production meetings and assign priorities to all levels of inspection review
- Review and approve test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and other customer required documentation
- Responsible for final disposition of discrepancy reports, material correction notices and source inspection reports
- Review and approve work orders for completeness and accuracy
- Work cross functionally with engineering, design/drafting, test, manufacturing, and purchasing
- Ensures that all incoming material is properly accounted for and dispositioned
- Initiate the shipping process for final products
This is a
FULL-TIME, DIRECT HIRE opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- IPC-A-610 certification required
- 10 years' experience in quality assurance and 5+ years supervisory/management experience.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
- Excellent communications skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
