Community Care is hiring a Quality Manager. This is a full-time opportunity at our Bishop Woods facility. No weekends or holidays, Based in Brookfield with telework flexibilities.
Quality Manager Job Responsibilities:
* Quality Program Management - Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual quality plan. This includes assessment of member impact/risk, management of formal and informal projects, and oversight of monitoring activities.
* External Quality & Compliance Review - Manages state and federal quality and compliance reviews as assigned, interfacing with the Department of Health Services (DHS), the state's External Quality Review Organization (MetaStar), federal agencies or other related entities.
* Quality Program Engagement - Leads integration of stakeholder input into quality initiatives. Stakeholders include members, legal decision makers, care teams, caregivers, providers and Community Care's Board of Directors.
* Quality Collaboration - Builds and maintains strong partnerships with other Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and oversight entities, such as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Health Services (DHS), the National PACE Association (NPA), External Quality Review Organizations (EQROs): MetaStar, and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in order to gain a higher level of knowledge of current trends and regulatory expectations to better support the success of the quality program. Serves as a conduit for communication between internal operational stakeholders, Community Care's Board of Directors and the Quality Staff.
* Organizational Metrics - Knowledgeable of results and organizational metrics for area of responsibility and works with direct reports to improve processes and outcomes.
* Supervision - Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff. Assigns and monitors workloads of direct reports. Adjusts assignments as needed to ensure agency needs are met.
* Orientation/Training and Staff Competency - Provides orientation, ongoing training, and feedback to direct reports to ensure their job responsibilities and performance expectations are defined and understood. Ensures competency of staff.
* Recruitment - Interviews and recommends for hire the staff into direct and matrix report positions
* Special Assignments & Projects - Coordinates, delegates or performs special assignments and projects as requested by leadership staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Quality Manager Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience combining direct care/service in acute or community based long-term healthcare with older adults and/or persons with disabilities preferred. Minimum 4 years relevant quality management experience and Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
Quality Manager Education: Bachelors Degree in Health, Human Services or related field Required. Bachelors in Nursing preferred. Masters in Health, Human Services or related field preferred.
Quality Manger Work Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
