Alaant is thrilled to partner with Electro-Metrics, a leader in machine shop and contract manufacturing industry, to find a talented Quality Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team!As a Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will have a proven track record of designing and improving quality program requirements, ensuring design drawings follow requested specifications from our clients, meeting our quality standards while working collaboratively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams, and providing work direction to Technicians and Inspectors, as needed.Benefits for the Quality Engineer role: The salary is starting at $90,000 based on experienceMedical, Dental, and VisionBonus potentialResponsibilities for the Quality Engineer role: Update Design FMEA and manage risk with cross-functional teams.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to meet design and quality standards.Conduct inspections, testing, and process improvements.Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and enhance quality through preventive methods.Present quality reports and metrics to stakeholders.Maintain work instructions and quality documentation.Required Skills: Expertise in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications.Knowledge of metal fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, welding, machining).Proficiency with dimensional inspection tools (e.g., calipers, laser systems).Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T) and risk analysis.Requirements for the Quality Engineer role: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in machining/fabrication industries.Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or similar highly preferredExperience with ISO9001 environmentAbility to work in a cross-functional team environmentMust be a U.S. Citizen or Green CardholderFor more details on this role contact:Megan Ermalowicz, She/Her/Hers, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, ...@alaant.com 518-###-####Why Alaant?At Alaant Workforce Solutions, we never post a job that isn't a real, verified opportunity.
