Position Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient medical records and enters data accurately.
- Completes medical record reviews timely to meet all deadlines. Advises Manager of any issues with medical record retrieval, data entry or deadline achievement.
- Participates in interrater reliability to ensure accuracy and addresses concerns where necessary.
- Participates in meetings, providing constructive feedback to improve systems and processes.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology in daily work and strives to obtain more information where knowledge limited.
- Demonstrates understanding of principles of quality management and performance improvement in daily work.
- Assists in preparation for meetings by preparing agendas, drafting letters to appropriate Stakeholders, physicians and following up as needed.
- Conducts Chart Audits to monitor performance & compliance. Create & maintains performance dashboards/data.
- Facilitates & collaborates performance Improvement activities, projects & action planning in a PDSA format.
- Works closely with leadership to execute quality strategies.
- Accompanies regulatory surveyors such as AHCA, TJC, etc. and facilitates regulatory visits.
- Prepares presentation as assigned to different committee meetings pertaining to PI related projects and activities.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the State of Florida.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing. MSN preferred
- At least 2 years experience in quality & performance improvement activities, teaching & facilitation , data gathering, analysis and dashboard presentations.
