We are currently seeking an outstanding Quality of Life Specialist/Caregiver to join our team. Our caregivers are the primary employees interacting with our senior residents every day to give them a good experience that promotes their health and well-being. Our caregiving team partners with other departments and leadership to resolve resident questions or concerns and to look for ways to continue improving our residents' experience.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
* Support resident health by giving them high-quality assistance with personal care tasks including dressing & laundry, grooming, mobility, bathing, shaving, incontinence care, foot care, checking vital signs, and height and weight checks per policy.
* Assist residents at mealtime by encouraging their dining, assisting them with their food, and partnering with kitchen staff to address resident needs.
* Support resident engagement and mental health by providing activities as planned and/or directed.
* Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly to ensure residents receive appropriate help.
* Communicate with residents and their families in a positive way that inspires confidence and security. Collaborate with leadership to resolve any questions or concerns shared by residents or their loved ones.
* Complete accurate documentation for shift assignments as required, and comply with all applicable regulations and policies impacting the work.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* One year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.
* Experience working with senior citizens preferred.
* Passion for helping people with compassion and empathy.
* Ability to collaborate as part of a care team.
Pay range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr, depending on experience.
Schedule: Early (7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and late (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) shifts are available.
