Commercial Programs Quality

The successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) activities and initiatives and will provide leadership necessary to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction for various Bell commercial programs. The successful candidate will oversee the program Quality requirements, ensure Quality deliverables are met and that the final product meets the customer's expectations.

The position reports to the Senior Manager Civil Certification and interfaces directly with site Quality managers and the appropriate commercial program manager, build and design teams.

What you'll be doing as a Quality Operations Specialist

The primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

* Develop relationships and collaborate across multiple program functions and site locations to foster teamwork.

* Responsible for interface with the commercial Quality organization on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that all contractual Quality deliverables are met.

* Manage root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to ensure timely and effective resolution of defects.

* Manage the Quality Assurance Program Plan, track and report on First Article inspections, facilitate weekly Material Review Board meetings with the customer and report quality metrics at the monthly Program Management Review.

* Ensure Compliance with FAA 14 CFR 21 and AS9100 standards, the Bell Quality Manual, and Bell company procedures.

* Maintain metric reporting for the commercial program.

Skills You Bring To this Role

* Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort around management and customers.

* Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

* Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, reports, procedures, and certifications.

* Experience with PowerBI, 3DX, Bell Quality tools, and all Bell systems related to day-to-day activities preferred.

* Experience in detail and component manufacturing preferred.

* Six Sigma Green Belt certification or other Continuous Improvement certification preferred.

What you need to be successful

* 4-Yr Degree such as BS/BA in, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, or Engineering

* 6 years' experience as a Quality professional in the aerospace industry.
