Watch now to learn more about The Pond Guy: Job DescriptionOur Quality and Process Analyst is a critical contributor to ensuring quality products are provided to customers at all levels. This position will facilitate the creation of documentation from the product development team to the production team and will report directly to the quality manager. ResponsibilitiesHere are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
  • Monitor and analyze quality concerns across production processes to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Prioritize quality issues based on potential impact to production, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement action plans to address quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and long-term process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production quality and operational workflows
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain thorough documentation of quality issues, corrective actions, and improvement outcomes for internal tracking and reporting
  • Act as the primary liaison between quality assurance and production teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives
  • Use practical problem-solving methods to address production and quality challenges without over-reliance on certifications or theoretical frameworks
  • Analyze quality data from all available sources (ex. Service, Repair Center, Tech Department, etc.) to identify emerging issues
  • Maintain product safety documentation and certification systems: UL, ETL, EPA, CE, C-tick, etc.
  • Conduct supplier validation and qualification through scorecards and visits; Coordinate with vendors and purchasing to correct any discrepant product and establish methods to prevent reoccurrence; Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance
  • Maintain a safe work environment while providing quality, detailed work
Skill Set To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
  • 3 to 5 years quality experience preferred
  • Proven history of understanding and executing industry safety standards and quality expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification suggested
The Quality and Process Analyst position requires proficiency in typing, the ability to sit at a desk, and the capacity to focus on a computer screen. This position requires manual dexterity for working with small components, ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time, bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs., and managing packages up to 150 lbs, as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time. The candidate should be adept at collaboration and prepared for daily interaction with engineers and other departments (purchasing, production, customer service, etc.). Organization, follow-up, and communication skills are essential factors in the daily administration of this position. We need a self-motivated Quality and Process Analyst that has a desire to become an expert while creating procedures with precision and quality. You'll need the ability to learn quickly through training and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks.AvailabilityThis onsite position is located at 15425 Chet's Way, Armada, MI, 48005. You must be available to work 40-50 hours per week between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.CompensationThis is a full-time position with benefits. Benefits include:
