Job Description:
Job Summary Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products. Duties and Responsibilites
  • Know the proper and improper use of PPE and equiment with ultimate concern for personal safety and safety of others
  • Follow Standardized Work Instructions
  • Supports the teams in Operational improvement
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
  • Quality Checks and Inspections
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities
  • Prolem Solving - Learn to recognize and solve the malfunctiong of the machine and recognize and solve quality probblems of formed part
  • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management
  • Perform 5S activity in assigned area
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Able to work any scheduled shift, as needed
  • Supports Operational Performance Metrics and meets targets for improvement
  • Supports annual operating plan
  • Clear understanding of material flow and Supply Chain Management
  • Detail oriented, excellent problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in using MS Office applications
  • Recording data as needed/assist in documenting standardized work
  • Material Handling as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Dependable and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work with minimum of supervision
  • Knowledge of Resistance Spot Welding and common welding defects
  • Knowledge of Sheet Metal stamping and common stamping defects
  • Ability to compare work against standards of quality provided and distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable tolerances
  • Physical strength and stamina
