Together, we're united in our mission and these shared values: we're motivated by our faith, we support one another, we champion justice, we pursue excellence, and we're in it for the long haul.As the Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for your respective branch's full compliance with Bethany's National Office, Council of Accreditation (COA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and County requirements, while being informed and communicating branch best practices on quality assurance.This position is expected to function effectively with little supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, contractual, federal, and state regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish and monitor compliance as it pertains to branch paperwork, files, and electronic records;Participate in applicable agency meetings;Develop and disseminate branch specific policies and procedures related to staff;Provide advice to supervisors and staff for direct practices for quality assurance matters and may need to advise on clinical matters;Work collaboratively with branch marketing staff and program supervisors to ensure accuracy of marketing and orientation materials;Partner with branch leadership to ensure a timely and accurate response to stakeholders with all data requests, and the completion of monitoring reports as required;Assist with providing the appropriate feedback and tools needed to resolve non-compliance situations related to contract compliance for the work site;Provide support to supervisors when implementation of new compliance regulations occurs, while also following up on the implementation plan;Submit a monthly progress report on the status of programs and any observed concerns to the respective Branch Director;Complete other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's level degree in Human Services or related field of study from an accredited college, Master's level preferred;Must have a broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodology of Human Service as acquired through a Bachelor's level degree;At least one (1) year of prior experience serving in a similar role within a child and family welfare agency;Demonstrated experience and familiarity with HIPAA regulations, a plus;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Must exhibit an ability to apply the principles of logic and critical thinking with problem solving;Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks;Exercise a high level of confidentiality;Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commitment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
