Position Summary
As a Quality Specialist in our Plant Operations group, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, improvement and streamlining of the quality management system that ensures the secure documents (driver's license and identification cards, identification components.) that CBN manufactures are of the highest quality and remain trusted documents for governments and their citizens.

What You Will Do
+ Develop and implement quality control plans that ensure compliance to all specifications and standards;
+ Audit process centers for conformance to product specifications;
+ Employ statistical quality control (SQC) methodologies to monitor and maintain the quality of products and identify and analyze any quality problems;
+ Track non-conformances, recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce/eliminate reoccurrences and monitor and analyze the effectiveness of corrective actions;
+ Identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of quality control initiatives; and
+ Various other duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
+ University degree/college diploma in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer) OR a print related field;
+ Knowledge, understanding and application of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards;
+ Knowledge, understanding and application of continuous improvement processes and tools such as: Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, PDCA, etc.
Skills and Abilities
+ Proficiency in MS 365
+ Familiarity with statistical/business intelligence software
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Excellent organization/time management skills
+ Attention to detail
