Job Summary:
At the direction of the Director of Quality and Patient Safety, acts as an internal consultant to further the improvement and innovation of systems and processes as defined by organizational priorities. Works with senior leaders, clinicians, managers and staff to develop and implement improvements in quality, safety and efficiency. Expands the capabilities of clinicians, managers and administrators by providing them with resources (i.e., skills, knowledge, time, data, project and change management) to accomplish specific objectives. Promotes the use of professional standards, regulatory requirements, and data to improve and guide patient care, and patient and employee safety. Uses discretion when working with confidential clinician, organizational, patient, and employee information to promote deeper understanding of systems failures. Fosters and supports improvement using appropriate change methodologies.
