Job Description:

It is the responsibility of the Quality Supervisor to understand and implement the principles of our Companys product and service quality assurance program, quality evaluation and controlDuties and ResponsibilitiesInteract with staff, customers, and suppliers daily to help resolve quality issues while providing ways to improve the Company's quality efforts.Maintain ISO certification for Schroeder Industries LLC.Recommend improvements to increase the quality of our products.Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.Support concurrent Engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing Quality Assurance and the customer.Participate in the documentation and implementation of methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports with the guidance of the Quality Manager.Assist in process certification; participate in internal and external quality audits, serving as lead ISO management representative to the ISO Auditor.Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.Compile, write and deliver training material on quality standards and activities.Identify and report non-conforming material to Purchasing and provide technical knowledge to assist their efforts in obtaining credit from suppliers.Perform other duties as assigned. RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years QA / QC experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of ISO standards, quality system techniques/methodologies, common statistical tools, leadership principles and quality engineering practices are essential.Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.Knowledge of ERP software, spreadsheet, and word processing software. SAP experience is a plus.Possesses knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.Strong working knowledge of Continuous Improvement including 5S, Lean Manufacturing and KaizenWillingness to travel domestically when required
