Our 1st shift schedule is Monday - Thursday from 6:00am - 5:30pm with daily overtime and weekend overtime as required.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) at the local facility.
  • Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents and support processes consistent with AIAG core tools and standards.
  • Manage the internal auditing processes to ensure adherence to company systems and procedures.
  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate, facilitate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality i.e., defects, process failures, etc.
  • Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical quality.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of services.
  • Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate disposition of all non-conforming material.
  • Review any findings of product quality with Shift Quality Manager.
  • Review Error Proofing results with Shift Quality Technician.
  • Review any bypass, override, roll forward with Shift Quality Manager.
  • Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years' experience Quality Assurance in a warehousing/distribution environment with prior 3PL experience preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience with quality processes, APQP, internal auditing, ISO 9000, IATF 16949 and PFEP.
  • Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability and strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a flexing, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
