Job DetailsJob LocationTN - Springfield, TNDescriptionAs a Quality Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our laboratory activities, testing procedures, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, coaching and monitoring the performance of quality personnel, and maintaining a culture of quality within Airtech.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:In order to be successful in this role you'll need to be able to handle the following:Perform all tasks with a focus on safety, ensuring the well-being of yourself and other plant personnel.Be a proactive employee coach, fostering talent from within and maintaining a positive work environment.Oversee testing of materials in lab and supervise quality techs to ensure proper procedures are followed.Manage calibration system or ensure calibration is carried out to planned arrangements.Manage customer complaints and notify QA Manager of significant issues or trends.Execute internal audits associated with AS9100.Perform quality checks on incoming materials and finished product using laboratory or production testing equipment where appropriate.Maintain a neat and orderly work area.Must pass annual forklift certification test.Must use safe practices and methods to handle products heavier than 50 pounds.Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.Sustain regular, reliable and punctual attendance.Perform other tasks and duties as required by management.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:Required:Associates Degree or equivalent work experienceProficient in Microsoft Office programsMinimum of two years in a quality or related rolePreferred:Experience with CAD software Experience with executing internal audits associated with a Quality Management SpecificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working on a computer or conducting meetings.Ability to use manual dexterity for keyboarding, writing, and operating office equipment such as phones, printers, and copiers.Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.Ability to stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend, stoop and reach.Ability to push/ pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.WE HIRE YOU TO RETIRE YOU:Airtech offers a competitive compensation package which includes medical/dental/vision benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and a company funded retirement plan.
