Kitchen Brains brands, including (FAST.), Modularm, and KitchenEssentials, feature a growing number of products that incorporate KitchenKorrect IoT/cloud connectivity and can be found in leading QSRs, casual and fine dining restaurants, convenience and grocery stores, schools, hospitals, stadiums and more globally.Position SummaryAs the Quality Supervisor, you will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to build and continuously improve a Quality Management System (QMS). Collaborate and lead all Quality Engineering activities including certifying our facility for ISO 9001, and address all supplier quality issues. Ensure all quality-related systems are established and documented to provide a safe and effective product. Build sound technical and organizational competence within our area of responsibility and contribute to our Lean journey. Ensure the systems and products comply with applicable government regulations and standards. Comply with all KB quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality engineering/assurance principles.The Quality Supervisor will report to the Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReestablish a Quality focus with the Quality Inspection teamInterface between design & manufacturing teams for testing and manufacturing needsLead Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering to define and improve a QMSDevelop QMS procedures, instructions, and forms consistent with ISO 9001, ASQE, Lean and obtain ISO 9001 certificationProvide effective quality engineering leadership in teamwork, communications, and quick responses to customer needs and company-wide projects.Conduct Informal and formal audits to ensure that the QMS is followed – walk the floorDevelop metrics like FPY, PPM, NPD Time-To-Release, etc…Interface with UL, ETL, ISO, and other 3rd party inspectors during their audits and follow-upsDirectly monitor returned goods for early warnings of a potential problemApply the 8D process to the root cause and solve problems, and design preventative actions.Implement tools that automate the gathering and reporting of QMS data.Understand & direct manufacturing test processes & future needs.Participate & direct manufacturing Lean activities to achieve 1 piece flow/problem-solving environmentOversee vendor qualification and certification programs.Aide engineering in the interpretation of UL or IEC requirementsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related science.5 years of Quality Control experience in the electronic manufacturing industry is preferred.Demonstrated success in quality engineering, statistical problem-solving, and decision-making.Deep understanding of ISO 9001, IEC, UL Regulations, and audit-facing experience.Strong in failure analysis, test method validation, engineering tolerances, and statistics.Expert with tools such as fishbones, Check Sheets, Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto Charts, Scatter Diagrams, pFMEA, dFMEA, reviews of Designs, and reviews of processes.Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and influence others.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal listening skillsExcellent knowledge of statistical software, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Some Lean or Six Sigma Training is preferred.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.Kitchen Brains is an Equal Opportunity EmployerTo apply for a position, please submit your cover page and resume to ...@kitchenbrains.com with the position title in the subject line.#J-18808-Ljbffr
