Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of Supervisory experience in previous roles
  • Experience with ISO 13485 – Use of the highly regulated industry and GMP
  • CAPA Management - identifying, analyzing and fixing issues as a part of the Quality Management System
  • Track and Trend/Continuous Improvement – ability to implement, maintain, and facilitate continuous quality
  • Experience with Complaint/Deviation Management – ability to improve quality of preventing deviation of a product/service quickly after addressing complaints

Plusses:

  • ISO 13485 or higher-level than ISO 9001
  • Ownership of QMS systems listed above
  • Succession Candidate for Quality Manager (1-3 years)

Day-To-Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for one of our clients in Clearwater, FL in high-mix, low-volume facility dealing with chemicals. The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role under the direction of the Plant Quality Manager. This person will have responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and facilitating continuous quality improvement for site manufacturing quality control, environmental testing activities and the calibration programs. With the responsibility of supervising Quality inspectors, they will be evaluating the effectiveness of incoming, in-process, final inspection and process control mechanisms. They will be apart of the development of systems/procedures, training of personnel in use of quality tools, identification of needed quality laboratory improvements and continual development, as well as monitoring and reporting KPIs. Internally, this person will have relationships with Quality, Production, Customer Service, Supply Chain, HR & Maintenance. Externally, this person will have relationships with Customers, Suppliers & Calibration Vendors. This person will promote a safe working environment, comply with proper use of PPE, report incidents and participate in department safety meetings. They will exhibit environmental practices and procedures consistent with jobs performed and EMS requirements.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $135,000 per year annual salary. [If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above.]

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
