As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible to build and manage the Quality Operations team, leading our quality culture in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Your proven record of driving improvements and agility in responding to quality excursions will enable you to set the tone for the rest of the team. In addition, your strong collaborative skills will allow you to bring cross functional teams together to efficiently solve complex problems. Your presence will bring structure to the team and bring the best performance out of each of your direct reports.B: 7:00AM - 7:00PM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other WednesdayResponsibilities Manage, mentor, and lead a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors and provide coaching and training to technicians and inspectorsBe accountable for delivering quality improvements, methods, and coachingDelegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of quality technicians and inspectorEscalate quality issues with management and engineering as needed and drive improvements in quality operationSupport issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action trackingAssist quality technicians and inspectors with in-line decision making and management of material dispositionEnforce 5S and workplace hygiene standards Requirements Must understand general manufacturing processes, Quality methodologies, and team leadershipMust be adaptable in work schedule (including compressed work week and night shift) and the working environmentMaintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary informationAbility to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10+ hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, Lift at least 10-20 lbs. on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, Ability to climb ladders/stairs, Work in a loud environment. Must be able to discern audible alarms, must be able to distinguish colors and possess accurate depth perception.
