Job descriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems and possess the ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Responsibilities- Must be willing to work in a versatile environment where you will be asked to perform a variety of task as part of a team to accomplish company goals.- Perform quality control and testing services, applying the basic technical knowledge necessary to meet current Engineering Standards and or customer requirements.-Complete all basic required reports per customer, Engineering Specification, or QMS.- Escalate issues when found to the appropriate personnel.- Conduct a variety of audits.- Participate in continuous improvement activities such as; Kaizen events as needed including 5S and Lean activities.- Understand and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.- Successfully pass all required job specific training.Experience- Prefer at least 2 years post secondary education as or (AS or BS degree in Science a plus).- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.- Blue print reading including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).- Knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 and ISO17025.- Organizational skills and 5s experience.- Strong familiarity with PCs.- Report writing.Please apply at www.Atworkknox.ComJob Type: Full-timePay: From $18.61 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
