Job Description Quality Technician We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team and ensure the integrity and excellence of our products. The Quality Technician will play a vital role in inspecting, measuring, and testing mechanical and electronic components to meet established standards and specifications. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills to maintain quality throughout all stages of production. Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests to verify the quality of parts and assemblies.
- Inspect incoming mechanical/electronic components and document accept/reject findings.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and submit Supplier Corrective Actions when necessary.
- Utilize and calibrate inspection equipment, including calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Maintain and document Quality records, including yield-to-failure charts and non-conformance reports.
- Conduct inspections during production and analyze failures, providing corrective feedback.
- Execute AQL incoming inspections and perform site calibration activities.
- Input data into the Quality Database and monitor inventory through cycle counting and Kanban systems.
- Actively identify opportunities for process improvements in quality, safety, and productivity.
- Communicate non-conforming issues to Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Quality Engineering Certification, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in quality control, including proficiency with GD&T symbols and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in statistical and testing applications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with quality measurement devices; CMM experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
