The Quality Technician is also supports scrap reporting, analysis of data, Gauge R&Rs, validation and first article inspections. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a willingness to learn, is able to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating a strong commitment to quality.What You Must Bring to This RoleHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven attention to detail, accuracy and focus in an active environmentDemonstrated ability to read and interpret documents including inspection proceduresDemonstrated success working with measurement equipment and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, optical measurement systemProven success working in a team environmentDemonstrated comfort with basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and roundingDemonstrated comfort with both verbal and written communicationProven history working in Microsoft Office, including Excel and WordExperience with basic computer applications and data entryProven ability to transition between multiple and changing prioritiesProven history of working as a quality support role within the medical device, aerospace or related industry - desiredProven history working with Quality System Regulation - desiredWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and AS9100 - desiredFamiliarity with statistical techniques - desiredHow You'll Make an ImpactConduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standardsPerform measurements and testing to verify product qualityReview lot history records of manufactured products for complianceKnowledge of Praxis quality control inspection methods and equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related challengesCollaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and preventive measures.Promote awareness of manufacturing scrap and defectsMaintain compliance with Praxis' Quality Management SystemAccurately complete all required record sheetsWorking Conditions & Physical EffortsWork is performed in a Production environmentMay be required to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand or sit for a prolonged period of timeVisual functions being those of acceptable or corrected near vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusTalking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with associates, leadership & suppliersFinger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipmentModerate exposure to physical riskPraxis is an equal opportunity employerDepartmentQualityEmployment TypeFull-TimeMinimum ExperienceMid-levelCompensation$19.oo - $21.00
