Job Title: Quality Tech CJob Code: 18197Job Location: Wilmington, MAJob Description:Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications. Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards. Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.Essential Functions:Perform inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, materials, and assembliesInterpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications to approve or reject unitsMaintain documentation and perform sampling and testing of components and raw materialsReview and report performance data to ensure compliance with company standardsDetermine inspection methods and proceduresInterface with customer quality representatives or suppliersConduct receiving inspection transactions in RIDs, reviewing material certs, and completing inspection reportsAnalyze measurement results and provide comprehensive reports to engineering and manufacturing teams.Work closely with the program team to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained.Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve quality processes and standards.Required Qualifications and Skills:Qualifications:Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Proficiency in using CMM software, preferably Zeiss CALYPSO or equivalent.Knowledge of Keyence machinesDemonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Familiarity with other inspection tools and methodologies.Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
