This individual will need to have had a minimum of 8 years of experience in performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment. Essential Functions: - Perform Receiving Inspections on incoming hardware.
- Perform In-Process Inspections/Final Inspections.
- Learn/perform mechanical hardware inspection and perform complex inspection from ground module assemblies to large reflector assemblies.
- Capture and maintain configuration records.
- Operate using specs, drawings, and work instructions.
- Ensure manufacturing processes are accurately followed and properly documented.
- Identify problems or issues.
- Use knowledge and experience to provide resolve issues.
- Perform inspections utilizing electronic equipment and tools.
- Candidate must be self-starter and practice excellent customer service.
- Act as mentor to lower-level peers providing guidance on tasks.
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, on short notice and for possible long durations to support contractual delivery schedules.
- Excellent Communication and People skills, both oral and written.
- Good computer skills.
Basic Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Commute between L3Harris facilities on occasions
- Ability to maintain DoD Secret security clearance
- Multi-task and work independently and/or a team member.
- Candidate must be self-starter and practice excellent customer service.
