Standard business hours.Support for production day shift as required. Occasional off-hours support possible, but isolated.6-months contractScope:In this role, you will be reporting directly to a Quality Supervisor. This position focuses on quality disposition of Advanced Optics parts and materials, product and material documentation review and release and liaison between the Plant and key stakeholders. We look for you to work closely with other functions within the organization (Engineering, Operations, and Procurement) and be responsible for driving an improved Customer experience with our products.Day to Day Responsibilities:Ensures adequacy of product Quality and compliance to requirementsDispositions production events related to part and material non-conformancesMonitors metrics consistent with job responsibilitiesSupport Plant Safety programs to provide a safe working environmentAchieve applicable department requirements for safety, quality and costAbility to identify root-cause & how to improve issue at handDrive simplification and continuous improvementAdministrative work for production events in the system, ensuring that they are moving along and completing the production event process.Travel Requirements:NoneRequired Education/Experience:Two year (Associates) + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment ORHigh school diploma + 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environmentRequired Skills:Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExcellent cross functional communication skillsAbility to learn new technology and processes quicklyProficient with Microsoft OfficeDesired Skills:Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or technical functionKnowledge of ISO 9001Experience with procedure and work instruction interpretationSoft Skills:Flexibility to work within a dynamic team and provide training to othersStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively on all levels of an organizationPay Transparency:This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $22.14/hour - $29.52/hour.Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :Work Authorization : Green Card, US CitizenPreferred years of experience : 5+ YearsTravel Required : No travel requiredShift timings: Hours of work/work schedule/flextime: 40+ hours, Monday – Friday.
