92034BRJob Title:Quality Technician Fermentation - Kennesaw, GADepartment/Function:Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesJob Description:Quality Technician - Kennesaw, GAFermentation FacilityThis is a Salary Non-Exempt level position!Position SummaryFirst shift position supporting process development activities within the Fermentation Facility.Job Responsibilities: Good interpersonal skills, conveying information both professionally and concisely.Actively champion and promote all safety related policies and programs to ensure colleague engagement and dedication to the benefits of working safe.Support the development of manufacturing technology and capabilities for new/improved products and processes.Support efforts to develop and implement technology and practices to reduce contamination, increase efficiency and yield, and increase utilization of idle equipment.Conduct experiments in lab and full-scale process equipment.Support installation, startup, and transfer of new technology.Perform troubleshooting and problem solving.Develop management of change requests, operating procedures logs, etc. and provide training related to technology transfer functions.Provide training for operators.Review and revise deviations/CAPAs, manufacturing and process equipment documentation, and other technical documentation, as necessary.Document results and generate reports. Job Requirements: 3+ years of experience in an operating fermentation or chemical processing plant preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions.Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems.Demonstrated strength with troubleshooting activities.Strong Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values.Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.Must have a proven history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures. Physical Requirements: Work in uncomfortable environments, such as hot or cold temperatures.Ability to climb stairs and exposure to heights.Moves/transports fifty-five pounds.Able to access all areas in the plant.Sit or stand for long periods of time and bending, kneeling.
