Employment Type: 2 year contract Schedule: Day Location: Colorado Springs, CO Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Technician to work with our client, an American electronics manufacturer, in Colorado Springs, CO. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Job Description: The Quality Technician will support manufactured test equipment. Specific duties include: mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for direct application of technical skills. Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting technicians and Process Engineers. Requirements:
- This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification
- Must have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background and be able to read blueprints.
- Must have understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
- Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
- Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
- Works with clearly defined objectives.
- Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
- Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
- Provides consistent, solid contribution to team delivery goals.

Preferred: - Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
- 3D modeling knowledge with NX, Solidworks, or other software.
