Purpose: Individual will be the eyes and ears of the Quality Dept. Ensure quality objectives are being followed and met by all sections of operations. Technical knowledge of Turbos and knowledge of processes are a must. Be able to problem solve and use Quality tools. Must have the ability to adapt to change and perform at a high level without constant supervision. Detail essential job responsibilities, requirements, and key deliverables for the role:
- Perform process audits.
- Record and maintain Non-conforming product process.
- Use test equipment to test turbo components for functionality.
- Root cause analysis, problem solving ability, and data collection.
- Track and monitor non-conforming trends and provide feedback to all stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in Quality improvement projects.
- Provide support to all departments as needed.
- Update product pictorial.
- Lead or assist in process and product documentation.
- End of line product inspection.
- Create and maintain Quality Alerts.
- Ability to communicate with all departments as needed.
- Inspect parts as needed to specifications.
- Ability to use measuring gages as needed.
- Perform product testing for validation/verification.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Some exposure to harsh conditions-such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures-for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting 20%, standing/walking 80%. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
