Your role and responsibilities Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity Assist other Quality Technicians, Operators, and Assemblers when quality questions arise Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc. Process customer returns and repairs including the related RCA/8D reports Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects Perform other related duties as assigned Use required computer systems (Shop Floor Command, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.) Qualifications for the role
- High School Diploma with 3 years experience in a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience with quality documentation, RCAs, and CAPAs
- Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
- Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun, bandsaw, etc.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability and willingness to climb stand/walk or sit for long periods of time
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Work along of as a member of a team
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
