Job Description:
Are you a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail, looking to contribute to the future of aviation? LTA Research & Exploration is seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team of Quality Inspectors. In this role, you will assist in the verification of assembly for our innovative experimental and certified airships.Responsibilities
    • Perform inspections of aerospace hardware, sub-assemblies, and systems.
    • Verify routine conformance to design requirements.
    • Provide objective evidence of inspection results.
    • Document all noted defects or discrepancies.
    • Ensure adherence to installation procedures and engineering specifications.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and other departments.
    • Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiate requests for corrective action.
    • Segregate and control non-conforming items.
    • Perform regular audits of processes, tool controls, and calibration.
Qualifications
    • Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), with overtime as needed.
    • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
    • 1+ years of experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role.
    • Must be able to perform inspections in permit-required confined spaces.
    • 1+ years of experience using boom lifts, mobile lifts, and scissor lifts.
Preferred Qualifications
    • American Society for Quality Certifications (CQI, CQT, Six Sigma, etc.).
    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or Inspection Authorization.
    • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on products and using calibrated equipment to measure and report results.
    • Experience working in a team environment.
    • Formal or informal team leadership experience.

$30 - $40 an hourThe base rate for this role is $30-40/hour, which is determined based on experience, geography, and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes a very competitive annual bonus, 401K Match, and other generous benefits.
