Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob DescriptionTop 3 Must Haves are:Previous quality experience with Industrial equipment (aerospace or industrial gas turbine strongly preferred)Blueprint reading experienceMechanical ability is a MUST - understanding manufacturingResponsibilities:Work from general or written instructions, reading off blueprints, interpreting models, utilizing inspection sheets and morePerform in-process, final inspection, over inspection and test operations to ensure quality standards are being maintainedInspect and perform part verification regarding locations, parallelism, height, angles, and shapes using precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, scales, micrometers, and morePerform process and product auditsReview SPC data to ensure negative quality trends are identifiedReview production difficulties that are traceable to equipment, newly built or faulty tooling, vendor-supplied material and/or manufacturing/inspection procedures and aid in continuous improvement projectsReview purchase orders, customer specifications, and moreWork closely with Quality Engineers on projects and quality implementations as well as root cause analysis on non-conformances to identify the causes and prevent recurrencesPerform and document First Article Inspection for submission to internal and external customersAdhere to all quality standardsHard SkillsPrevious quality experience with Industrial equipment (aerospace or industrial gas turbine strongly preferred)Blueprint reading experienceMechanical abilityProductionQuality InspectionManufacturingSoft SkillsExcellent AttitudeStrong Work EthicJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in MIDDLETOWN, New York.Work EnvironmentOur Client has 4 shifts in general.
