What We're Looking For
* Associate's degree in an engineering-related field or at least 2 years of experience in quality functions
* Strong teamwork and project facilitation skills
* Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to write simple correspondence and fill out forms accurately
* Capability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings
* Understanding of simple mechanical systems with a limited number of components and minimal interrelated movements
* Ability to sit, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
What You'll Do as a Quality Technician
* Inspect parts according to specifications using various tools, gauges, and equipment
* Prepare and properly file quality records
* Maintain and organize quality records
* Initiate and implement corrective actions as directed
* Perform rework on parts as needed
* Conduct audits of processes and parts
* Carry out cycle counts as directed
* Compile data for management reports
* Coordinate calibration and service requirements
* Perform other tasks as assigned
