Quality Technician
: Job Details :

Duration: 6-month contract

Job Description:

· Ensures adequacy of product Quality and compliance to requirements.

· Dispositions production events related to part and material non-conformances.

· Monitors metrics consistent with job responsibilities

· Support Plant Safety programs to provide a safe working environment.

· Achieve applicable department requirements for safety, quality, and cost.

· Ability to identify root cause & how to improve the issue at hand.

· Drive simplification and continuous improvement.

· Administrative work for production events in the system, ensuring that they are moving along and completing the production event process.

Experience:

· Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Excellent cross-functional communication skills

· Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Desired Experience:

· Previous quality control experience in manufacturing or technical functions.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001.

· Experience with procedure and work instruction interpretation.

Skills:

• SAP

• ISO 9001

• Routine test

Education:

· Two year (Associate) + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment OR

· High school diploma + 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
