*Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring a Quality Technician in the Miamisburg, OH area at $19.00/hr. *Position Overview:We're looking for a Quality Technician with a strong background in the electronics industry, specifically in the realm of connectors and wire harnesses. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, wear multiple hats, and possess leadership qualities to guide a team of dedicated professionals. This role will ideally require someone with exposure to ISO 9001 audits, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance:• The position requires experience in blueprint/specification reading, programming (and use of) CMM's and basic metrology skills.• Perform inspections and tests on various connectors and wire harnesses to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.• Assist the Quality Manager with implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to uphold process integrity.• Identify and address any deviations from quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.Leadership and Team Collaboration:Work with a team of quality control technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Ensure Assemblers are trained with an eye for Quality and understand the importance of built-in quality within the manufacturing process.Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.Provide training and support to team members, ensuring a cohesive and skilled workforce.ISO 9001 Audits:Conduct or assist with internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 standards.Assist Quality Manager with implementing corrective actions to address any non-conformities identified during audits.Support the continuous improvement of quality management systems.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections and tests.Generate reports summarizing quality metrics and key performance indicators.Communicate quality-related information to relevant stakeholders.Document quality checks to augment Product Build Instructions.Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Word & ExcelPrevious experience in a quality technician role within the electronics industry, with a focus on MIL-SPEC connectors and wire harnesses.Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience conducting internal audits.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership experience and a proactive approach to team collaboration.Desire to contribute to the growth and success of the company.Education & Certifications:• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience in electronics quality control.• Lean/Six-Sigma Green Belt or higher a plus.• IPC Certified is a plus.
