Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Quality Technician is responsible for working in an ISO 7 cleanroom performing environmental swabbing and using ATP (adenosine triphosphate) meters to determine whether equipment is clean or dirty. This role involves swabbing for yeast, mold, and taking water samples of purified water to get a heterotrophic plate count. When taking swabs, the Quality Technician will fill out documentation and send samples to another lab for analysis. As the technician grows in the role, there will be opportunities to write and review batch records and analyze collected samples.ResponsibilitiesPerform environmental swabbing in an ISO 7 cleanroom.Use ATP meters to check cleanliness of equipment.Swab for yeast and mold, and take water samples for heterotrophic plate counts.Fill out documentation and send samples to another lab for analysis.Handle inbounds by verifying received products and releasing materials to the warehouse.Write and review batch records as needed.Analyze samples collected from swabs.Essential SkillsQuality inspectionGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Medical device quality controlEnvironmental swabbingISO 7 cleanroom experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredAssociates or Bachelors degree in Life Sciences preferred1-2 years of quality or lab experience in industry settingsExperience with GMP or ISO standardsWork EnvironmentThe team consists of a VP, Sr. Quality Engineer, 2 quality engineers, and 2 quality analysts. Initial working hours are from 8am-4:30pm for the first week or two, then shift to permanent hours from 2pm-10:30pm.
