Details: Job Title: Quality Technician - FAI Location: Remote Pay Rate: $25-34/hour, full time, direct job with full benefits. Shifts: 1st Direct Hire Full Time, Full Benefits #FAI #qualityengineering #aerospacejobs Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Technician to assist our team in ensuring that First Article Inspection (FAI) packages are properly loaded into supplier systems. This role requires expertise with GE Aerospace (GEA) specific requirements, including eCAV processes, SPS tools, and certifications. Additional quality assurance tasks, such as sub tier supplier/internal investigations and root cause analysis, may be assigned. This is a remote position requiring prior experience with GE Aerospace parts and systems. Job Duties: *Load FAI data from internal NetInspect locations into the GE supplier portals. *Review and upload Certificates of Conformance into GE systems as required. *Verify special processes and ensure compliance using the GE SPS tool. *Review approved suppliers to ensure sub-tier compliance with GE requirements. *Track and report the status of parts currently in process or under quality review. *Review line of balance (LOB) sheets for part tracking and planning. Required Qualifications: *Proficiency in AS9102 and related standards for FAI. *Knowledge of NetInspect FAI software. *Familiarity with GE s eCAV processes and requirements. *Prior experience working with GE as a supplier or within GE s internal quality systems. *Understanding of special processes and the ability to verify compliance through the GE SPS portal. *Strong quality background with knowledge of standard quality tools. *Ability to understand and work with line of balance (LOB) sheets. * Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: *Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes. *Comprehensive quality assurance background with additional certifications or training.
