Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Block Repair/Technical Services Repair department supporting the team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Quality TechnicianLocation: Red Wing, MNPay Range: $28 to $36 per hour depending upon experienceDuration: 4 month contract Shift: 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm. What's the Job?
- Inspect and repair defective or damaged safety blocks.
- Visually examine returned block for damage.
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
What's Needed?
- H.S. Diploma/GED, or higher
- 2 years experience with blueprints and repair diagrams as an assembly aid
- Trained and signed off on the ability to repair 6 block styles; completed OJT forms
- 1 year experience in Block Repair/Technical Services Repair department
- Ability to perform the essential functions (EFA) of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation. EFA's are available upon request.
