DPC holds market leading positions globally and delivers performance-critical solutions across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical and general processing markets. We design and manufacture mission-critical equipment components to deliver more affordable, cleaner energy solutions and enable manufacturers to operate more efficiently.SUMMARY:Tests and inspects parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Identifies products that fail tests or tolerance levels and reports as necessary. Final inspection of parts for quality. Supports Quality Manager in customer complaint resolution and corrective actions. Supports other departments in inspection and testing of design.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Comply with all safety policies and procedures while actively participating to create a Zero Harm culture at work and at homeActively participate in continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer expectationsMaintain working knowledge of product conformance and assembly procedures of numerous productsPrioritize daily work to ensure customer delivery is metComplete ERP transactions, using Syteline.Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and perform quality checks using measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, and CMMCMM operation, training and programming.Verify calibration daily on CMM machines.Completes quality inspections reports based on customer's requirements. (CMM reports)Assists R&E and Engineering in testing and inspection of new designs.Assists and/or trains operators on visual acceptability, and measurement and process procedures as required.Works with planning and manufacturing to provide support to meet schedules. Verifies that features meet requirements before product goes to any outsourcer.Knowledge and ability to assemble all of Inpro/Seal product lines and product configurationsKnowledge of all testing equipment, including the Air Mizer testing machine, to verify product performanceCommunicate with other departments to correct defects discovered during productionWork with Quality to facilitate quality audits and ISO internal audits.Work with Quality & Engineering to research and implement corrective action to resolve customer complaintsCan troubleshoot design quality and machining quality and instruct others to correct defectsProperly complete required paperworkOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.Basic computer skillsMaintains a positive attitude towards team members and the organizationAssists in efforts to ensure team meets commitments for the departmentLooks for solutions versus blameLooks for opportunities to help or service other departmentsDiffuses high-tension situations effectively and communicates with diplomacy and tactEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Requires a high school diploma/or equivalent and at least 3-5 years' experience preferably in industrial manufacturing.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
