Job Description

Purpose: Performs dimensional and visual inspection of parts and completed manufactured goods to the specifications of engineering department blueprints.

Core Responsiblities:

  • Performs incoming inspection and processing of production parts, first piece and engineering samples.
  • Processes non-conforming parts discrepancy reports of items received from vendor and line rejects.
  • Uses various measuring devices to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Investigates on-line problems (assembly, workability) and proactively offers solutions.
  • Calibrates and certifies instruments and gages. Maintain calibration and repair schedules and monitor average lead-time.
  • Perform routine calibration of test equipment (internal and external customers).
  • Coordinate all calibration with external calibration vendors for instruments that cannot be calibrated internally.
  • Performs business system transactions and maintains nonconforming products in quality hold areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma
  • Associates Degree in a technical field, preferred.
  • 1-3 years of prior Quality experience in a Manufacturing setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM,Windows, etc.)
  • Must work well in a team environment and must demonstrate excellent communication skills in the interaction with customers.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and conscientiousness related to the quality of work.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
