Quality Technician - Nights Westfield, MA Are you an independent worker who likes to be part of a team? Are you able to prioritize tasks, well organized, possess strong communication, math and mechanical skills? Do you have prior Quality Inspection experience? We are actively seeking a Quality Technician to join our client in Westfield MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Responsibilities of the Quality Technician The Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, and Food Packaging Safety requirements. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining. Conduct various quality tests on products using appropriate measuring tools and equipment. Identify and investigate quality-related issues on the production floor, working with production teams to resolve problems promptly. Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Requirements of the Quality Technician Basic computer skills, including familiarity with quality management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle repetitive motions. Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the packaging industry. Strong math skills.
