As a Quality Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems and practices. What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Inspection and testing of incoming materials are part of the release process
- Interfacing with internal clients such as production management, process engineering, and manufacturing leadership to identify incoming materials requiring release
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ability to work in a high-paced collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work on multiple projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Support ISO 9001 and TS16949 as well as Other Regulatory, Agency, and notification bodies
- Support quality improvement efforts in designated areas with the goal of improving zero defects and performance
- Work with manufacturing team to conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Track and measure critical processes within the plant
- Assist in the investigation and removal of non-conforming materials
- Ability to solve problems analytically and creatively
- Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests
- Ability to read technical data and specifications
What You Will Need:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must pass a basic math skill test
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively, self-motivated, self-starter
- Must pass company background check and drug screening
