Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Trainee Department: Quality Reports to Title: Quality Manager SHIFT NIGHTS/HOURS: 1st Shift Position (7:00 am - 3:00 pm) 40+ hours per week over the course of 5 days and sometimes 6 days. Overtime may be required throughout the week STARTING PAY: $18.68 with the ability to earn more Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in products and services? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Trainee to join our team. As a Quality Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems and practices. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced quality professionals and learn the ins and outs of quality control and assurance in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Inspection and testing of incoming materials are part of the release process
  • Interfacing with internal clients such as production management, process engineering, and manufacturing leadership to identify incoming materials requiring release
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ability to work in a high-paced collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work on multiple projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Support ISO 9001 and TS16949 as well as Other Regulatory, Agency, and notification bodies
  • Support quality improvement efforts in designated areas with the goal of improving zero defects and performance
  • Work with manufacturing team to conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Track and measure critical processes within the plant
  • Assist in the investigation and removal of non-conforming materials
  • Ability to solve problems analytically and creatively
  • Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests
  • Ability to read technical data and specifications
What You Will Need:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must pass a basic math skill test
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively, self-motivated, self-starter
  • Must pass company background check and drug screening
