Job Description:
Quotation SpecialistRittal LLC, has built a strong tradition of innovation and takes pride in a progressive approach to engineering. We design and manufacture the world's leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high-efficiency, high-density power management, and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor and hybrid applications.As a Quotation Specialist, you will complete critical fields within SAP, generate cost calculations, set prices, and offer alternate solutions where applicable.Knowledge & Experience:

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Product knowledge
  • Experience in Microsoft word, excel, & power point
Responsibilities:
  • Using internet-based tool, review customer RFQ's to gain an understanding of customer requirements.
  • Apply product knowledge and knowledge of manufacturing capabilities to quote effective solutions for customer and Rittal.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, and sourcing at time of quotation
  • Coordinate with manufacturing to provide reduced lead times at time of quotation.
  • Use discretion and judgement to ensure effective return on time/effort invested for cost and pricing calculations.
  • Complete critical fields within SAP, generate cost calculations, set price using approved pricing guidelines and determine appropriate lead times.
  • Support and maintenance of quote tools and SAP system configuration.
  • Monitor customer applications and give feedback to Management on reoccurring configuration/part requests.
  • Support special orders by providing clarification when necessary and support to develop alternatives when problems occur.
  • Review order risks and provide alternate solutions where applicable.
  • Participate in Training to gain advanced knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills, and others as needed.
  • Participate in trade shows and onsite/offsite customer visits.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
