As innovators in the hair and nail industry, Wella Company empowers its people to delight consumers, inspire beauty professionals, engage communities, and deliver sustainable growth to its stakeholders.For additional information about the Wella Company please visit www.wellacompany.com.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide support to the OPI R&D Packaging team to assist on Initiatives as instructedAny Packaging Lab work as instructed including executing lab testing, data collection, data entry, issuing test report summaries or any other tasks needed to maintain and/or improve our packaging lab capabilitiesMaintain organization and cleanliness of the lab and storage areas.Liaison with both internal and external partners to collect data/documents as requestedMaintain documents used to store Data, Team Shared Drive access, etc.Data entry work needed for Wellas specifications in SAP based systemProvide any additional task related support needed by the team to support the packaging needs to the OPI and Wella Company businessQUALIFICATIONS1-2 years of experience. Package engineering degree preferred or other Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree with lab testing experience.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with the capacity to increase mastery with experience/training.Detail-oriented and good data organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.Hands-on experiences on equipment setup and process improvement; Experiences in Instron is a plus.Technically precise and eager to learn new technical details.Ability to work with structured data specifications.Team player with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Lab is located in Calabasas, CA and job is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 5 days/week.Daily work performed in both an office & lab setting, subject to long periods of sitting/standing.Able to follow company policies and procedures related to company practices and safety procedures.Willingness to operate various standard office equipment and/or laboratory equipment as instructed.Individual will be exposed to working in or around a lab environment with various equipment, machinery and chemicals.
