Job Summary: We are looking for an Intern in their sophomore or junior year who is studying for a degree in Graphic Design or Engineering. We are looking for a technical individual as they will have responsibilities related to R&D and Graphics departments. The focus for this internship will be assisting the Project Management Office in supporting projects, technical trials, quality/materials analysis, graphical designs, HYBRID software management, process development, and documentation creation. Job Responsibilities: Participate on the manufacturing floor for technical trials, work with plant management team and operators and conduct measurements for technical recordkeeping. Perform quality material analysis and communicate with external lab to identify reasoning behind quality issues. Document and communicate findings to plant management team and project management team. Create and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project. Work closely with Graphics, R&D and Innovations teams on setting up processes and creating documentation. Assist with management of sample inventory and kit production. Assist Graphic Technicians and specialist with generating GMG and separations for artwork. Support Graphics team regarding Ink and Plates and plate making initiatives. Provide additional support to the Graphics team for innovative projects (may include running proof press as needed). Complete all other tasks as directed. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Sophomore or junior status from an accredited university pursuing a degree in either graphic design or engineering discipline. Strong skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) Understanding or use of standard graphics adobe photoshop and illustrator software, not required. Preference is a minimum 3.0 GPA in your academic field of study. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High initiative and drive with a curiosity to learn and improve operations.
