Gunstock Mountain Resort is now accepting applications for the Race Ops Crew for the winter season. The Race Ops Crew assists with the daily set up/breakdown, maintenance, and other various aspects of Gunstock's competition operation with the highest level of safety, efficiency, and guest service.Requirements:* While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time* Constantly able to operate radio controls, hand tools, power tools, vehicles, machinery and equipment used for the set up, maintenance, and breakdown of competition areas* Ability ski/snowboard at an intermediate or advanced level up to 6 hours/day on all terrain in variable weather conditions and while transporting up to 25 lbs* Required to move equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 25lbs regularly, up to 50lbs frequently, and up to 100lbs occasionally.* Ability to constantly inspect, detect, and assess work areas, supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles.Perks for Year 1 Winter Employees:* Complimentary Gunstock season pass for yourself OR one friend/family member.* Discounted and/or complimentary lift tickets for most ski resorts throughout NH, ME & VT.* Complimentary group ski/snowboard lessons & equipment rentals at Gunstock.* Complimentary access to the Tubing Park, Nordic and Snowshoe trails.* 40% discount on food at all resort venues (excluding alcohol).* 25% discount at Gunstock Ski & Sport retail shop.
